January 2011 article cleanup[edit]

While adding References & cites, for the WP:WUBLP project, I had to poke around some Polish websites, with the help of Google Translate.

Could a Polish-speaker or someone with knowledge of Polish idioms give me a "better" (if I haven't interpreted correctly) English version of the title?

The literal translation of Na Wspólnej is "On the Common" from which, due to plotlines, I inferred as meaning "The Common Folk".

The German soap opera it's based on, Unter Uns, translates to "Among Us". Would this make "Among the Common Folk" a better English version of the Polish title? Or, due to the neighborhood setting, is "Common" taking the English meaning of "commons" (as in town square -- see Wiktionary def. N.#3)?

UPDATE: After reading through the more-extensive Polish Wiki of this article, I realize the series takes its name from the Warsaw street, where the characters live. But it would still be helpful to know if there is any idiomatic or ironic meaning to the word. And whether "On Common Street" is a more appropriate English title.
