Does anyone know who N Brown was? Dormskirk (talk) 20:48, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Think you will find it was the name of a shell company that Sir David acquired (with family?). If the person did exist, then I doubt they had any subsequent connection with the company. I seem to remember reading (internal magazine article) the name was adopted as it was more english sounding. --Keith 14:13, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I worked for the company (JDW) from 1974 to 76, and still have connections there, so I contribute with an interest. The wording may seem odd on the transition period 1963-1970 but the 2 sets of references differ (!) I prefer to stick with the company version --Keith 23:02, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
