Trying to understand how this article is queried for Notability. The NZNOG is a well established entity that has legitimate interest, is comparible to the NANOG. I submitted much of the info to the article, as a contributor to NZNOG for some years. The existance and function of the group can be verified through the media; search http://www.computerworld.co.nz for NZNOG for an example. The newly updated website @ http://www.nznog.org is a work in progress for their 2007 conference. So whats the deal? - BlakJakNZ 10:05, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

here we go again[edit]

Now submitted for deletion - despite noone having posted any comments in response to the above, posted 6 months ago.. ... do we have to cite a bunch of search results to prove we're notable?

If links to citations like these are built in, will this satisfy the Wikipedia editors-that-be?

Comments welcomed. BlakJakNZ 03:49, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An afterthought; ive deleted the 'delete' suggestion (which was, for the record:

-- "no indication of how this group meets WP:CORP nor that they have been written about by publishers independent of the group"

I see merit in citing some references, but I don't see anyone making similar suggestions of NANOG's article. NZNOG and NANOG are very similar. I would suggest adjustments to the article, not deletion. BlakJakNZ 05:24, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
