Galaxy Type This galaxy NGC 1487 is labelled here as a "spiral galaxy" whereas it very evidently is not. In the scientific paper http://adsabs.harvard.edu/full/1997AJ....114..102A, Astronomical Journal v.114, p.102, the authors call this a "perculiar galaxy". Should not this galaxy therefore be called an "irregular galaxy" or "peculiar galaxy"? ComtedeMonteCristo (talk) 05:21, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In fact this change has now been made and the galaxy is called "irregular" and the reference to the above article of Aguero and Paolantonio is given. ComtedeMonteCristo (talk) 05:46, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
