Provence region[edit]

The article states that this airport serves the Provence region. However, Nîmes is located in the Languedoc-Rousillon region. Therefore, this region as well as west Provence, much benefited by its closeness to the airport, are equally well served by it.

Position of Airport[edit]

This is totally back-to-front. It is situated in the village of Garons near the much larger town of St-Gilles. Some 30 years ago, when I lived in St-Gilles, there was an attempt to have the name of the town included in the title but this was refused, owing to French standard naming rules.
