4th Album

The 4th album is not 'the midnight curfew' could someone remove this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.74.106.198 (talk) 12:16, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

Done. ×××BrightBlackHeaven(talk)××× 13:57, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

Gerard announced at Comic Con this year that the fourth album is finished & their label said that it is due for a fall/autumn release. (http://venomousformaldehyde.blogspot.com/2010/07/gerard-way-shares-my-chemical-romance.html) The page says this happened on June 23, but Comic Con was in that time of July, not sure if it is July 23 but the given date is wrong.

also, there was a leak scare on torrent sites claiming the fourth album is named 'Monsters' but this is very unreliable & there has been so far, no official mention of the new album's title. This leak, by the way, is only up on very unsecure sites & in a ZIP file which is notorious for carrying viruses so it is most likely not real. I don't want to download it to find out. So there is no evidence that the new album is called Monsters like it comes up when you look at the discography. Someone change please :)—Preceding unsigned comment added by Copaface182 (talkcontribs) 23:05, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

re: gerard way witnessing the planes crashing into the wtc towers

currently the wiki page reads: "Witnessing the planes crash into the World Trade Center influenced Way's life to the extent that he decided to start a band. [5]" - which refers you to a defunct link. so as a matter of curiosity i did some looking around and found this interview with Way, which clarifies what he witnessed on 9/11:

By Ron Brownlow STAFF REPORTER Thursday, Jan 31, 2008, Page 14

RB: Did you see the planes crash into the World Trade Center?

GW: I was taking the commuter train in. I didn't see any of the planes hit. I did see the buildings go down, from I'd say fairly close. It was like being in a science fiction film or some kind of disaster film - it was exactly that kind of feeling. You didn't believe it. You felt like you were in Independence Day. It made no sense. Your brain couldn't process it. And for me it was a little different. I'm very empathetic and I'm kind of a conduit emotionally, so I pick up a lot of stuff in that way. There was about three- or four-hundred people around me - and I was right at the edge. All these people behind me, they all had friends and family in those buildings. I didn't. So when that first building went, it was like an A-bomb went off. It was like just this emotion and it made you nauseous. One of the first thoughts that went through my head when they went down was, "What does this mean?"

unfortunately the actual web-link didnt seem to work, so only the cached page is available. but i see Way incorrectly identified as a plane crash witness in many places online and they all quote the same erroneous info from the wiki page. so in the interest of historical accuracy it would be nice if someone could please change the write up to reflect Way's proper account.

thank you!

Fix the Brendon O Biran link.

The link for Brendon O Biran should be going to his page. It is not. Fix it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Linkin Park rulz (talkcontribs) 19:45, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Fourth Album - "Danger Days: True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys"‎

An editor yesterday started a new article entitled Danger Days: True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys‎, which is, according to the article, the name of the band's fourth album. A link was added to the "Discography" section of this article, and I removed it. As the band hasn't confirmed anything yet, the new page was nominated for deletion. A deletion discussion was opened, and can be found here, and if anyone has an argument as to whether or not the article should be kept or deleted, please state your opinions there. Thank you. Announcement of the title of the 4th album

According to the official facebook site of MCR, the title of the new album will be "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys".

The site also links to a youtube video trailer of the album.

I'd venture to say that this is legit.
