Ambiguous statement[edit]

"The McElroy Brothers appeared on the July 24, 2017 episode of @midnight, during which host Chris Hardwick publicly acknowledged that the show was ending.[43]"

Table of contents[edit]

I have a few problems with the table of contents. First, I believe it should go 1. Format, 2. Hosts, 3. Guests, 4. References. I think the TV show should have its own page because while it is similar to the podcast, it is presented in an entirely different media and takes a different approach in formatting. However, if the TV Show must be on this page, it makes no sense for it to precede Hosts and Guests which have to do with the podcast itself. Furthermore, Hosts should come before Guests as it gives the reader a better understanding of the regular weekly podcast. Nm100 (talk) 18:30, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hosts section[edit]

I'm not sure this section is needed anymore. It made more sense when the brothers didn't have their own articles, but now that they do and all of this information (and more) is mirrored there, it seems wholly unnecessary. Most podcast articles I've seen don't have a section just about the hosts either. Guests section[edit]

I've started a conversation about guest sections more broadly at the WP:PODCASTING talk page, but to sum it up I don't think guest sections are worth it. There are no reliable and independent secondary sources that focus on the guests and what makes a guest notable is entirely subjective. These lists often end up including tons of names without any reason as to why they deserve to be there, which clutters up the article with content that can be found by looking through their episodes. Recurring Segments[edit]

Work of fart seemed notably missing in what was otherwise a fairly extensive list of segments. An argument could be made to trim the list, rather than add to it, but if it's staying as is, I'd suggest adding the following description to the list, or something similar. " "Work of Fart": A game show-style segment with a format similar to that of Jeopardy. Travis provides Justin and Griffin with a statement that combines a description of a classic piece of film, literature or another form of art, with a reference to bathroom humour. Justin and Griffin then try to guess what pun Travis created to mashup the title of the work in question with the bathroom humour word. AJaco110 (talk) 08:23, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
