Why'd you stop working on it? I think it deserves an article. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 20:12, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy?[edit]

This is a great article. Very well done. Curious as to why it's got the "controvercial" label, though. I see no disputes here on the talk page that indicate controversy of any kind. Was it preemptive? If so, that's not necessary, I don't believe. Nhprman List 21:53, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how it got the controversial label, it can probably be removed. Over the last few months one IP account[1] has been blatantly adding a lot of unsourced detail that has no place in an encyclopedia. Apteva (talk) 17:12, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Deleted condolence statements; not a newspaper[edit]

Wikipedia is not a newspaper of record. Just because politicians and local figures have made statements about a murder such as this, does not mean that years later, editors need to keep all those quotes. Yes, it was terrible, but this article is supposed to present a summary. I limited the "Response" section to political activity and memorials, not statements. The article can probably be edited more to provide a summary, rather than so much detail.Parkwells (talk) 19:57, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Needs better sources[edit]

In terms of sources, there seems to be over-reliance on court records, which are Primary Sources, rather than secondary Reliable Sources required by Wikipedia which report on and interpret events.Parkwells (talk) 19:57, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
