Impact of cauvery water dispute on the film[edit]

Clarification to Cyphoidbomb's question How did the dispute impact the film? How did it impact potential viewership. This statement is vague. There was a bandh in Karnataka against the Supreme Court's order on Cauvery water sharing issue between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The Karnataka film chamber also supported the bandh and didn't release any Kannada films on that day. The makers of Mungaaru Male said "the interests of the state come first for them and so they will support the bandh, and delay the release of the Kannada film by a day."^[1] The only reason behind this is that they were supporting the bandh (Not because of it would impact the film's potential viewership).Ab abhi (talk) 09:54, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
