Grammar[edit]

This sentence isn't in English: "...Mullen owns other businesses including Mullen Auto Sales, consisting of a chain of car dealerships in California and Arizona, the company CarHub." -unsigned

Written like an ad[edit]

At least four editors have added the "ad" note. Please leave it up while addressing the ad-like issues as long as the discussion is active. Ad issues include excessive detail about each product, sourcing a lot of information from the company's website and press releases, and the removal of the criticism section and mentions that development and manufacturing is primarily done in China and not the US. • I have semi-protected the article for three months. Let me know if any autoconfirmed editors engage in any disruptive promotional edits, and I will deal with them on a case by case basis. Cullen328 (talk) 07:50, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Inquiry Regarding Semi-Protection of Mullen Automotive[edit]

  • Hello Cullen328,
Thank you for your efforts in maintaining the integrity of the Wikipedia articles through measures like semi-protection. I understand the necessity of this action to prevent disruptive edits, especially in cases of promotional content.
As an editor interested in contributing constructively to Mullen Automotive, I am curious about the specific concerns that led to this decision. I believe that understanding these could help myself and autoconfirmed editors avoid unintentional disruptions in our future contributions.
If possible, could you elaborate on the types of edits or behaviors that were deemed promotional? This clarification will aid in ensuring that my revisions and those of other well-intentioned editors align more closely with Wikipedia’s standards and expectations.
Additionally, if I or any autoconfirmed editors wish to make edits that we believe will enhance the article's quality and accuracy, how would you recommend we proceed given the current semi-protection? Should we discuss these edits here on the talk page first?
Thank you for your guidance and looking forward to your advice.
    Best regards,
    Spotlight Beam (talk)

User:Cullen328 please help. User:Chance08101994 is reverting to the promotional revision and edit warring. EV stuff (talk) 17:49, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

EV stuff, I have extended confirmed protected the article for six months. Cullen328 (talk) 18:00, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree with locking the article as there are significant details about the company that are missing including it's origin, how it was funded, the dozen or so ongoing lawsuits, etc but seeing how it was vandalized I understand why it was done. Spotlight Beam (talk)
Spotlight Beam, the article is extended confirmed protected because of a long history of promotional and other disruptive editing that was not deterred by semi-protection. If you disagree with my reasoning after carefully reviewing the edit history, you can request unprotection at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. Your best course of action is to make formal, well-referenced Edit requests on this talk page. Casual requests are unlikely to draw much attention. Cullen328 (talk) 17:50, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Cullen328, firstly, thank you for maintaining the standards of Wikipedia articles, especially given the challenges presented by the history of promotional and disruptive editing on Mullen Automotive. I have reviewed the edit history thoroughly and fully understand the necessity of the extended confirmed protection.
Aligning with your guidance, I have posted several well-referenced edit proposals on this talk page, aimed at enhancing the accuracy and depth of the article. Given your expertise and understanding of the article’s requirements, I would greatly appreciate it if you could review these proposals at your convenience.
Could you please assess whether these edits meet the necessary standards for content and format? Additionally, if you have any suggestions on how I can improve these contributions or adhere more closely to Wikipedia's guidelines in future edits, your advice would be invaluable. Going forward, I'm happy to use {edit extended-protected} for these edit requests. Spotlight Beam (talk) 18:18, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Spotlight Beam, since I am acting as an adminstrator due to the disruption of the article, I am not going to get involved with the article content, because, per WP:INVOLVED, I could then no longer act as an adminstrator on this article. I care far more about stability and preventing disruption than about updating the content. Cullen328 (talk) 01:02, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone please add the following information to the Mullen Five details? It was designed by Andreas Thurner of Thurner Inc and built by Phairo Inc in 2021.

Further details on the Mullen Five development costs are found in the 2021 Mullen Automotive SEC 10K filing:

Mullen Naked Shorting Lawsuit Update[edit]

This lawsuit is mentioned in the Charles Payne interview as the reason for attending the Fox Business interview. Can someone please update the information to include the following:

Mullen Automotive Inc. voluntarily dismissed its lawsuit originally filed on August 29, 2023, against certain broker-dealers. The lawsuit alleged a scheme to manipulate the share price of the company’s securities focusing on short-selling claims. This case was limited to a three-month period and was deemed not cost-effective to pursue. (link: https://news.mullenusa.com/mullen-provides-securities-litigation-update)

Mullen filed a new spoofing complaint on December 6, 2023, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. This complaint alleges that UBS Securities, LLC, IMC Financial Markets, and Clear Street Markets, LLC engaged in a market manipulation scheme using spoofing to manipulate the market price of Mullen shares over a 2-year period. The company believes this litigation has a greater potential to recover damages based on the nature of the claims and the duration of the alleged spoofing. Proposal to add "Legal Challenges" section[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I propose adding a new section titled "Legal Challenges" to the Mullen Automotive page. This section will detail significant legal disputes involving the company, specifically focusing on recent shareholder lawsuits and the Gem Global Yield LLC lawsuit that has received substantial coverage.

The inclusion aims to enhance the article's completeness and provide a balanced view of the company’s recent challenges. The details of the lawsuits will be presented factually, adhering to Wikipedia's Verifiability and Neutral Point of View policies. I believe this addition is relevant as the lawsuits have materially significant implications for the company's public perception and financial health, making it of interest to a broad audience.

I invite all to discuss this proposal and provide feedback. If there are no substantial objections, I would like to proceed with adding information here for this section to the article after a reasonable discussion period.

Thank you!
