Singer Ms Dynamite is recovering after a terrifying 100mph car crash while filming the finale for Sky One's The Race. Fellow celebrity contestant Brian Johnson - lead singer of AC/DC - clipped the back of Ms Dynamite's race car at the Silverstone circuit.

A Sky One spokesman said the high-speed collision sent Ms Dynamite's Formula Ford spinning down the track for about 50 metres before it eventually came to a halt.

Paramedics were quickly on the scene and the singer - who was described as conscious and talking - was treated at the track's medical centre.

The spokesman said the R&B star had been airlifted to Northampton General Hospital as a precautionary measure, but had not suffered any serious injuries.

Ms Dynamite is the second celebrity to be injured while taking part in the reality show.

Last Tuesday, Ingrid Tarrant - the estranged wife of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host Chris Tarrant - was treated by paramedics at Silverstone after flipping a £150,000 three-tonne truck upside down.

The spokesman said the latest accident happened during the filming of the show's finale.

If Ms Dynamite has a Scottish mother and a Carribean father, is it right to call her English? Does she identify herself as being English?

Since no-one seems to know, I am changing it to English born - of Scottish/Jamaican origin.

If she was born in England than she's english. that's her nationality.

Can we have a serious account of what happened instead of this silly talk of privates? Genitals would be a good start...or by "privates" did you mean somewhere else? Come on...please...

Ms. Dynamite gained a sudden priority over Miss Dynamite?!?

Someone overturned this singer's page and deleted the original Miss Dynamite cartoon Wikipedia page, event though it existed more than a decade prior to the career of this singer. Why such a bypass? Maybe the cartoon is more popular than the singer in the world (mostly because of its web based fan), and it had at least a chronological priority... Think about it before hand, Wikipedia police!

How are we to find such a page & explanation AFTER the deletion has occured, if is wasn't for someone saving a trace of the original page? What can people not from the Wikipedia police do about such a bias modification of its content? If there's a place for 2 Roosevelt, why not one Ms Dynamite and one Miss Dynamite? Even the spelling isn't the same! But for Wikipedia's safe, Google only has the right answer like the Saviour Lord...

Please understand that I have noting against the singer Ms Dynamite (I didn't touch the front page, and aimed directly to the talk part), but really the Wikipedia policies won't keep a single touch of credibility if anyone can delete whatever they feel like it, because such information isn't neede at the moment.

It's not "anyone can delete whatever they feel like it", but "anyone can propose for deletion an article on a non-notable subject". In this case the page was proposed for deletion on May 13 because of a lack of notability: "no reviews, awards, interviews... in reliable, reputable sources are indicated or found". After 7 days, only one editor voted to keep it and 3 to delete it, so it was deleted on May 20; incidentally, being a lot of the results on google for "miss dynamite" related to the singer, the page name was changed in a redirect.

That said, if you think the comic meets the criteria listed in Wikipedia:Notability (books)#Criteria (for the printed comic) or Wikipedia:Notability (web)#Criteria (for the webcomic), you can ask for a new discussion on Wikipedia:Deletion review; if the community decides that the subject is notable, an administrator shall restore the deleted page. --Εξαίρετος (msg) 07:27, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

So who's to decide whether's notority is prevalent? Some administrators who have no clue between the 2 objects in dispute, and simply use Google in a lazy way to restrain the access to some information? Way to go for the encyclopedia of the future... It's not interesting to participate in such a fascist way of transmitting information, so I guess I'm better in my old paper environment that can't be managed by others while I look over the other way. Longue vie aux livres!

The discussion there contained false statements which were accepted as fact showing problems with the process. For instance, someone claimed that a google search for "Miss Dynamite" and "Sirkowski" provided only 118 hits though it actually produces over 2000 (which was misleadingly supported by providing a link to a google search which cunningly only searched for articles written in Dutch). And another person claimed that a google search mostly turned up results about the singer, though I checked, and of the first 20 results, and more are about the comic than this singer (though even more are about a different singer named Brenda Lee who is nicknamed "Little Miss Dynamite"), and the same holds true if you go far into the results, save that a growing portion will be about something else entirely.69.148.8.158 06:35, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Why was the Miss Dynamite comic article deleted? A victim of the webcomic purge, I imagine. I am consistently confused by those that are so pro-delete; The great thing about an electronic encyclopedia is that you aren't limited by paper. Problems with the deletion process:

• I can't see the Deletion review anymore, at least it's not in the link posted above.

Well, the Ayatollah have finally spoken, and Miss Dynamite isn't worthy of being notable enough for Wikipedia. Hence, the fallacious argument Deletion endorsed, required non-trivial multiple third party sources not supplied. The use of the trivial notion being a subjective issue (like the notability of something), it depends on the tendencies of the moment for being included or excluded. Seems like not many wiki administrators like webcomic/animation/printed comics these days, because they prefer to refrain information on the subject to stay available to users seeking for knowledge... Time off to give birth to her son

I have changed 'took time off to give birth to her son' to 'time off to have her son' as it only takes a matter of hours to give birth and generally doesn't warrant taking more than a couple of days off in itself. 'Have' may still be imprecise but as I'm not sure how much time she took off I don't know how best to describe it and have therefore opted for a neutral phrase. Is there any evidence for this section? The *only* thing I can find about "Best UGG act" was that Ms Dynamite was once nominated for it.
