Movement for ReversalMovement for Change (Serbia) – English translation for the party's name. Here's a handful of sources using it:

Movement for Change is incorrect, despite some sources using it. The correct translation of preokret in Serbian is reversal/turnover, change means promena/izmena. Movement for Reversal is backed up by several sources, so I am contesting this move:

Neither of the two literal translations of the word "preokret" capture the contextual meaning of this party's original name, which might be why they themselves opted to go with "Movement for Change" in the party's statute in English. I believe the intended meaning of "preokret" in this party's name is "to turn [something] over" (where [something] is Serbia, then guide it to another direction, i.e. "change"), but "turnover" is a predominantly business term. "Reversal" on another hand is associated with moving backwards or regressing. I think we need to take these issues into account and consider another name, also used by several sources, that does not have them. –Vipz (talk) 20:54, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Given that the current name exists in sources, and also satisfies WP:NATURALDIS, I'm not seeing a persuasive case for changing.  — Amakuru (talk) 14:33, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
