What came first the chicken or the egg?

Was the quarry started due to the need for stone ballasting for the railway line? Protected area status[edit]

The following categories have been removed because there is no evidence of the reserve being a protected area - "Category:Nature reserves in Victoria (Australia)" and "Category:Protected areas established in 1973". A search of the following sources returned a NIL result - Parks Victoria website and Terrestrial Protected Areas in Victoria (2016) at the Australian Government's CAPAD 2016 webpage. The small amount of contemporary sources suggest that it is possibly a reserve managed by local government for recreational purposes. Regards Cowdy001 (talk) 00:59, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
