"Fist of Joe Louis" isn't the name of the statue. It's "Monument to Joe Louis." --Michael Bauser (talk) 02:11, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The official name is less important than the common name. However, my research on Proquest shows that more people refer to it as "Monument to Joe Louis" than "Fist of Joe Louis". When they do use the latter it's as a description rather than a name. Unless there's any other input we should move the article.   Will Beback  talk  02:15, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am sure you are correct. In my poking around, the name was the best I could find, but it sounded wrong. Please feel free to move it. Really cool lookin' hunk o' steel, ain't it? Paul, in Saudi (talk) 09:25, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There's nothing like it. Per this discussion, I've moved the article.   Will Beback  talk  22:05, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is a pretty fast discussion and change. Fortunately (for me) I was just looking at the article thinking, "That name sucks." This is much better. I have some pictures taken as part of the SOS project that I might be able to find. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 05:48, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cobo now Huntington place[edit]

Can you please update this article to reference “Cobo” as Huntington place? Cobo refers to a white supremacist. 2601:410:8100:42B0:95E4:804A:DCA6:C7E1 (talk) 22:42, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
