Variations[edit]

Most of the one-piece plastic chairs in the world look much like the Grossfillex chair released in 1983. The chair designed by D.C. Simpson in 1946 did not have the slats cut into it that allow the chair to drain water when left outside. I think the article at the moment gives the impression that all monobloc chairs look like the Grossfilex chair. To me any chair that is made from one piece of plastic is a monobloc chair, but I think perhaps in common usage the term has come to refer to the outdoor garden chair with slats for draining water. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.2.0.178 (talk) 21:53, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

this article should be protected[edit]

The routine vandalism of this article, while occasionally humorous, is very usually non-conducive to a good Wikipedia article, so I think that this article should be protected.

If you think a page needs protection applied, the place to request that is Wikipedia:Requests for page protection.
