Proposed merge with Evangelical theology[edit]

Moderate evangelical theology (previously titled Moderation (theology)) currently contains barely any information, and what little it does borders on tautology (when it's not just parroting Moderate). I think the topic would be better addressed in the context of other branches of evangelical theology. signed, Rosguill talk 00:07, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I second the motion to merge. This article tells us nothing specific. Pete unseth (talk) 17:41, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I agree User:Rosguill and User:Pete unseth. This article should be merged. I hope this helps. With regards, AnupamTalk 22:03, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Anupam, Pete unseth, reading through the current draft, I'm not sure I see anything even worth merging. Anyone opposed to just converting this to a redirect? signed, Rosguill talk 22:06, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have no objections to your proposal User:Rosguill. The article on evangelical theology itself is problematic in that evangelicals are not a cohesive group--some teach Wesleyan-Arminian theology, while others teach Reformed theology; various Churches that are considered evangelical hold differing opinions on many things.
