Considering she retired from the game in 2002 isn't it a bit stupid to have a table in the article listing such statistics as her weight? How old is the figure given? Honestly, do you see any difference between http://photos1.blogger.com/img/34/955/640/20.jpg (in 2006-2007) and http://photos1.blogger.com/img/34/955/640/Mirka48.jpg (2001)

The weight of other retired tennis players seems to be that which is listed in their ATP/WTA profile. See for example John McEnroe or Guillermo Vilas. The latter is highly unlikely to currently be at the listed weight. Magicpiano (talk) 20:15, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Residence[edit]

Where Mirka and Roger lives is apparently poorly-cited. WTA lists her as living in Kreuzlingen (which may be historical), and ATP lists Roger in Oberwil. What's the evidence showing either live in Wollenau? Magicpiano (talk) 21:16, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Injury??[edit]

Currently we have "However, a recurring foot injury prevented Vavrinec from progressing further up the rankings, eventually forcing her retirement from competitive tennis in 2002." Certainly her foot injury forced her retirement; but it's possible that other factors (e.g., lack of talent?? other emerging players??) prevented her from progressing further up the rankings. I think this sentence would be better, and more fitting for an encyclopedia, if it just read "However, a recurring foot injury eventually forced her retirement from competitive tennis in 2002."Cross Reference (talk) 20:42, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
