Article Title[edit]

Given that the Miami Miracle was a minor league baseball team, I'd favor moving the article back to Miracle in Miami, as both variations seems about even. (I don't intend for this to be a full RM discussion at this point, as the names will probably settle down in the few weeks, and we'll have a clearer idea then of the most common name, if there is one.) - BilCat (talk) 23:55, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I support "Miami Miracle." It's what the Dolphins are calling it, it's what ESPN is calling it, and it's what's being printed on T-shirts. Lizard (talk) 01:20, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I understand, but that name needs discussion as there is a former MiLB team with that can argue for being the primary topic. I chose the current title as a placeholder name, with no prejudice against any other possible name. Another name may well show itself as dominant in the next week or so. - BilCat (talk) 03:09, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Lizard the Wizard:, a quick google search shows "Miami Miracle" as having twice as many ghits as "Miracle in Miami", regardless of meaning. The first 30 hits for "Miami Miracle" are all of the play, not the former ball team, so that's probably a good case for being the primary topic. Ping me tomorrow if no one has objected here, and I'll move the article to Miami Miracle, otherwise I'll open a formal RM if there are objections. However, the links to Miami Miracle that refer to the ball team will have to updated to point to Fort Myers Miracle instead. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 22:00, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • @BilCat: Noticed ESPN still calling it Miami Miracle this morning. Lizard (talk) 16:42, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
