By definition private group organized to elect political candidates or to advance the outcome of a political issue or legislation, I would categorize this as a political action committee — simply since it endorses a candidate to elected a governor. -- 94.101.2.145 (talk) 18:57, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

"Controversy"?

Calling MN Forward's donations to a candidate critical LGBT rights a "controversy" does not seem neutral for me. "Criticism" would be more neutral — since LGBT groups such HRC have criticized MN Forward's endorsement of Emmer. -- 94.101.2.145 (talk) 19:03, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Looks like someone fixed it. Even with the change, it's a bit shaky, I think. What political group haven't been criticized by those who disagree with them? Deletion?

Where is the discussion about the proposed deletion? All I can find is "Possible non notable political action group" in the banner on the page. Are they really non-notable? Their donation to Emmer resulted in talk of and at least informal boycotting of Target, resulting then in an apology from Their CEO (I think). It may not be national news, but it's a big deal in MN/MPLS, where both Target and Best Buy are headquartered. Huw Powell (talk) 18:22, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Keep: This article is notable, as this group has attracted both national media attention and national outrage and backlash against Target and Best Buy. I can provide plenty of news-esque sources to back this (NPR, CNN, CBS, etc). PunkyMcPunkersen (talk) 05:39, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
