Martel married a Frank Martel before 1957 - https://www.newspapers.com/clip/112681093/the-southwest-wave/. I think this one from 1953 is also about her, meaning they married before then -https://www.newspapers.com/clip/112681127/news-pilot/.

There was a South American tour in 1953-54 - https://www.newspapers.com/clip/112681155/south-gate-press/.

She seems to still be alive and performing in some capacity as late as 1991 -https://www.newspapers.com/clip/112681195/the-los-angeles-times/ and https://www.newspapers.com/clip/112681208/the-los-angeles-times/.
