Possible vandalism[edit]

I have reverted an edit by an anonymous IP during a vandalism streak. If anyone knows for a fact that Milbury really went to Colgate, please feel free to correct and comment here. --KNHaw 18:11, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A closer look at the edit log times for the user (Special:Contributions/68.15.55.13) convinces me that the Colgate mod was a legit addition. My apologies. --KNHaw 18:17, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"pansification" controversy[edit]

Is there any interest in adding a "pansification" paragraph (in either the TV work or Quotes section) to address the recent Hockey Night in Canada controversy? --theInvisibleMonkey —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.58.217.147 (talk) 00:07, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2010 Olympic controversy[edit]

I removed an edit calling the phrase "Euro-Trash" racist. European is not a race. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Scuzzletop (talkcontribs) 08:59, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Controversies[edit]

The Mats Zuccarello section is extremely weak and doesn't belong in a biography. Milbury doesn't use profanity in the video, and there is no abrupt cut to commercial. In the video, the discussion ends after 3+ minutes, which is the approximate length of an in-between periods segment. If this is included, why isn't every "controversial" comment he's ever made on TV? This seems arbitrary and very weak. Additionally, the second of the two links in this section links to an article that has nothing to do with the Mats Zuccarello incident or the on-air coverage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Otm9 (talkcontribs) 02:13, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The controversy section is continually being spammed by an inaccurate edit. Mike Milbury was never charged with assualt and battery of a child. The incident is being completely misreported with no supporting evidence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Otm9 (talkcontribs) 15:37, 25 May 2013 (UTC) Mike Milbury WAS charged with assault and battery of a 12 year old boy in Mass. Go to SportingNews.com to read the story. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.63.213.168 (talk) 23:25, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Are you referring to this? https://www.boston.com/sports/bruins-blog/2011/12/17/milbury_i_dont Yojimbo1941 (talk) 21:32, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

While it's not as egregious as some of his other comments during the 2020 playoffs, it might be worth mentioning the controversy over his comparison between the empty stands there and the supposedly empty stands at women's college hockey games:
