Wasn't Mikawa already merged into Tsuruoka City about a year ago or was it aborted/cancelled? jlog3000 (talk) 21:05, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Japanese entry for Mikawa does not mention any merger. The Japanese wiki also has a classification for defunct cities/towns, and, Mikawa is still in the "current" category. Neier (talk) 05:13, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
