Notable Inmates[edit]

I think that Viktor Bout would qualify.

Notable Inmates[edit]

The inmates listed in this section (with a few exceptions) were held at MCC New York for trial and were subsequently transferred to permanent facilities. Most, if not all, are now included in the articles for those facilities. Including them in this article seems redundant in my opinion. I'd like to replace them with notable inmates who are currenly being held at MCC New York. I'd also like to add to the rest of the article. MDEVER802 (talk) 00:18, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to include the notable inmates who are no longer there in the "History" section of the article. MDEVER802 (talk) 00:20, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Franqui Flores was not arrested by DEA agents in Haiti. Haiti is a sovereign country and DEA agents do not have arresting powers there. Flores was arrested by the Haitian 'Brigade de Lutte contre le Trafic de Stupéfiants' (BLTS). DEA tagged along. On a NY Times picture Campo Flores and Flores de Freites can clearly be seen being held by BLTS officers. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/19/world/americas/nephews-of-venezuelas-first-lady-convicted-in-us.html?_r=0 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcosobrinos_incident Gentleman wiki (talk) 22:11, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Murder" of Epstein[edit]

Someone inserted "murder" in the section for Jeff Epstein... While I understand it is still under investigation, we don't have a confirmation that he was actually murdered. Unless someone can find a source. Nusent 13:45, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, that same insert also included the claim "- which is a fabricated media lie." in the footnote about Federal prison suicide rates. This vandalism should have been removed as well. (Both edits were here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Metropolitan_Correctional_Center,_New_York&oldid=918830251)

Should this page be locked to prevent further vandalism? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.188.110.180 (talk) 21:49, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Inmates - Michael Avenatti[edit]

I am respectfully requesting that the MCC page be locked down temporarily as the entry about Michael Avenatti is being edited by trolls. I just deleted a reference to an alleged stalker, Carolyn Haynes. There was no reference for this allegation. In fact, Carolyn Haynes is a supporter of Mr. Avenatti and has experienced tremendous harassment online for her support. The action by the these trolls in altering the entry amounts to defamation of Ms. Haynes. Mr. Avenatti's personal page has already been locked down. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Megan2c2b (talkcontribs) 03:21, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
