The Good, The Bad & The Live

Why isn't this box set listed? I own it and it's widely available:

It's not some shitty production by some dodgy company, it's an official release by Elektra/Vertigo. In addition to the collection of reissues of old singles it also contain a unique "6 1/2 Year Anniversary" EP.

I added the info about this release a year or two ago but it has been deleted.

Is there a point in adding this information or is it going to be deleted again?

Does anyone have more information about New Skulls for the Old ceremony? It appears to be a fanonly album, rare, that should be included?

I found this song on the internet it was alledgedly Metallica play the Imperial Death March from star wars. Is this true?

I don't know if it's true or not, but it's all over the place, and it's usually called "S.W.I.M" (Star Wars Imperial March). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.118.223.189 (talk) 02:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Intro

Hi there. How about changing the current definition of Metallica as a thrash metal band in the lead sentence of this article? Reducing the band’s style to thrash metal would be unfair as their music goes beyond the genre. The Metallica article, also a FA, is reasonably careful in defining their music as thrash. Any thoughts?KoberTalk 07:55, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Was "Seek & Destroy" a single?

I see it's included in the Singles list, but I don't think it was ever released as a single. Aphasia83 (talk) 11:46, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Was released as a promo single. Be Black Hole Sun (talk) 21:23, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

no it wasn´t!; the singles page is a complete mess anyway —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.115.105.108 (talk) 10:55, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Featured list?!

How on Earth is this a featured list?? Reasons:

  1. Some parts look fairly messy, i.e. singles. Green tickY
  2. The Miscellaneous section goes against style guidelines... NOT a list of songs, only unique releases. Green tickY
  3. It contains tributes by OTHER ARTISTS which is against guidelines! Green tickY
  4. It contains films which goes against the guideline of only containing musical releases. Green tickY

It is a decent list but there are much better discographies out there worthy of FL status! Andre666 (talk) 20:00, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

A good part of their objections have been corrected. Canniba loki 19:12, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Load and ReLoad

At the top of this page, it says that Load and ReLoad were recorded at the same time, just released separately, but on the "ReLoad" page, it says they were planned to be released together, but "Lollapalooza" was in the middle of their recording time, so that separated them, which made them record separately. So, should "recorded" be changed to "wrote" on this page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.118.223.189 (talk) 02:44, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

I noticed on what you are saying. Yes, it is probably a mistake. Canniba loki 17:07, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Early

What happend to the early demo tapes there used to be articles on them i assume they where listed here and if not they should be. 78.151.68.27 (talk) 16:37, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Demo albums generally are not notable. Canniba loki 17:03, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Acoustic Metal

This album is also available here : http://www.last.fm/music/Metallica/Acoustic+Metal

Box Sets

It should be considered writing articles about the boxes: The Good, The Bad and The Live (1990) and Metallica: Vinyl Box Set (2004). Both are official and listed on Metallica's website. (Scaion (talk) 15:03, 26 March 2010 (UTC))

why isn't Some Kind of Monster isn't at the "video albums" section?

Why the list of Studio Albums was completely deleted of the article?

I think it was a mistake or something like that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.192.203.130 (talk) 02:23, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
