Inclusion of film appearance[edit]

An unregistered editor is insisting that this article include a new, one-sentence "In popular culture" section with the following sentence:

Mercyhurst is the setting for a scene in the 1996 film That Thing You Do!, directed by and starring Tom Hanks.^[1]

This is trivial and comes nowhere near meeting our bar for inclusion in an encyclopedia article. ElKevbo (talk) 23:09, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
