Continuing this discussion. Both melissapeterman.net and askmelissapeterman.com seem to be her actual official websites in the past, but are both now defunct. I was unable to find any official statement on her birth date through Wayback Machine. It would be nice to have a definitive source so her birth date could be added to the page for completeness. I suppose the widely circulated date of July 1, 1971 is likely accurate, as it is added to her IMDb page and possibly by someone who has first-hand knowledge.Kadmium (talk) 01:49, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLPPRIVACY is specific in saying, "Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object to the details being made public."

If the "actual official websites" still existed and contained the information, that would seem to satisfy the "by sources linked to the subject" element of the policy, but their absence eliminates that possibility. A date found on IMDb won't help because IMDb is not a reliable source. (WP:IMDB) Until a reliable, published, non-primary source can be found, we have no basis for publishing a date of birth for her. This article mentions that she was in an episode of Absolutely Fabulous, but I can't seem to locate which one on imdb.com, how can we verify this?
