Monotypic genera articles[edit]

@Ammarpad, @Quetzal1964: monotypic taxa should be located at the article for the lowest-level taxon, but not lower than genus. See Amphionides, used as an example at WP:MONOTYPICFAUNA. Rhinopias (talk) 22:21, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Rhinopias: Actually, I am only acting based on request at WP:RMT. I am not familiar with this botanical stuff. But since you pinged the person who made the request, I know he'll respond. One thing I observed is that he too is arguing the name should be at [the] lowest taxon just like you said. So there's something along the line that if you discuss, you'll both understand.
