I thought it would be good to explicitly state exactly what makes a protein mechanosensitive just so it was entirely clear. Also, this page mentioned examples of mechanosensitive ion channels that are found in bacteria, but didn't give any other examples. Therefore, I added some more examples of specific channels as well as where they can be found in the body.Ktrychta (talk) 04:14, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
