This article lacks sources. For example, the claim "Max was also the first hamburger restaurant ever to force a McDonald's restaurant to close, and has made plenty of McDonald's restaurants close today." has to get a source. Also, the pr coup might be correct, but makes little sense since there actually is no Max restaurant in Göteborg, even though it's Sweden's second largest city. /Grillo 04:06, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear facts[edit]

The statement "This may be due to the fact that Max's made-to-order hamburgers" uses the words "may be" that is not a true fact and should be deleted.--Raytelford (talk) 07:36, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The 'Reception' section[edit]

First, I think the name of the section is odd, as it's not about the reception among food critics or anything like that, but about their stores outcompeting McDonald's. Secondly, as most of that information dates back to 2007, it may be worth updating with the recent developments in 2021-2022 where McDonald's closed down several of their central Stockholm locations, including the very first McDonald's in Sweden, which were replaced with Max restaurants. https://www.dn.se/ekonomi/max-tar-over-mcdonald-s-anrika-lokal/ Fisk0 (talk) 16:16, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
