This article lacks sources. For example, the claim "Max was also the first hamburger restaurant ever to force a McDonald's restaurant to close, and has made plenty of McDonald's restaurants close today." has to get a source. Also, the pr coup might be correct, but makes little sense since there actually is no Max restaurant in Göteborg, even though it's Sweden's second largest city. /Grillo 04:06, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article is clearly objective, and should, just as Grillo mentioned, cite it's sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.138.173.111 (talk) 19:54, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

POV tag[edit]

The anonymous user 83.226.119.32 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) added a POV tag without any further explanation. Should we leave it indefinitely? - Tournesol (talk) 09:47, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since I got no response, I deleted the tag. - Tournesol (talk) 12:09, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear facts[edit]

The statement "This may be due to the fact that Max's made-to-order hamburgers" uses the words "may be" that is not a true fact and should be deleted.--Raytelford (talk) 07:36, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway, I fixed the awkward grammar by changing "due to the fact that" to "because", after it had been there for fourteen years. JIP | Talk 16:45, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The statement "polls conducted by commercial agency ISI Wissing AB." where is the report. Claim is not supported, therefore cannot be considered true and should be deleted.--Raytelford (talk) 07:36, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use images[edit]

WP:FAIRUSE images of the company's logo and sandwiches are available from the Max Hamburgers website here. 72.244.200.85 (talk) 21:19, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Standard of English[edit]

The quality of English used in this article, specifically within the "Equal opportunity" section is not quite right. Typing mistakes and muddled sentence construction means this section should be reviewed and adjusted. 86.171.248.48 (talk) 14:51, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The 'Reception' section[edit]

First, I think the name of the section is odd, as it's not about the reception among food critics or anything like that, but about their stores outcompeting McDonald's. Secondly, as most of that information dates back to 2007, it may be worth updating with the recent developments in 2021-2022 where McDonald's closed down several of their central Stockholm locations, including the very first McDonald's in Sweden, which were replaced with Max restaurants. https://www.dn.se/ekonomi/max-tar-over-mcdonald-s-anrika-lokal/ Fisk0 (talk) 16:16, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
