Proposed merge of Draft:Max Cook into Max Cook[edit]

Draft and article should be combined. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:52, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agree : no point in trying to have pages about the same person. ww2censor (talk) 10:49, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done, my page was created first and I am unsure why mine was declined and the page created on 8th May wasn't. EMRcreate (talk) 11:42, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's toosoon for this racer to have an article, as witnessed by the weak/recent refs, bit of fanzone going on here (and I'm an inclusionist).--82.13.47.210 (talk) 23:02, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've now added suitable tags, with guidance in the edit summary and as a reason shown by way of a tooltip. Moreover, concerning this latter point (alleged birth), Wikipedia advocates not using WP:PRIMARYSOURCEs to obtain detail.--82.13.47.210 (talk) 23:56, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, whereas I don't propose to spend any more time on this, I can now see that the alleged birth detail was first-authored during the initial draft, 25 April 2023. EMRcreate, I can see that you are a new registration with the majority of content devoted to Max Cook - could you please confirm how you arrived at this birth detail? Thank you.--82.13.47.210 (talk) 00:21, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I decided to spend a bit more time on this and have restored one of the original refs which supports birth detail (and deleted the one which doesn't ).--82.13.47.210 (talk) 12:45, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I took it from the RedBull.com source that is in the original draft sources EMRcreate (talk) 18:10, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Removed the merge template; draft no longer exists Klbrain (talk) 21:44, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
