Matiu Dickson was a beautiful man, Teacher and came from a honourable family. His story is still been written as his cousin who he saw was smitten with a man who she shared her life with. The other Paraire family however need to never question her validity and Matiu Dickson saw her life and those of her family would be wrecked with havoc, he literally put his life on the line to save them all. I will be absolutely indebted to their fortitude in keeping her safe. Miria Ana-Maria Paraire. Awesome work.

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... Matiu Dickson was a valuable member of the Maori intellectual community. Additionally, he is categorized as a requested article, making the deletion of this page questionable. It may require further editing, but deleting it seems counter-productive. --Gminniear (talk) 00:18, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
