Nick Wirth and the MR01[edit]

Discussin carried over from my talk page:

Hi, I'm planning to revert your edit as you didn't provide any explanation why you did it and I believe it made the article worse by duplicating the details of little relevance to the car (Nich Wyrth, name change, etc). Those details can be found in the team's history section, if anyone is interested. I think "less is more" is a good guidline and there's plenty of more relavant information about the car that can be added to the page, e.g., Pat Symonds, new design, delays, etc. C1010 (talk) 23:28, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I dispute some of these propsoed changes. Nick Wirth's departure from the team represents a significant change in design philosophy for the team. The Marussia MR01 will not be designed using CFD, something which is notable enough to be included on this page considering that it was the lynchpin of the team's 2010 and 2011 seasons. Revelenat information does not have to be placed in either the car or the team articles - if it is important enough, like this shift towards conventional design methods, then it can be included on both pages.

Also, C1010, some of your changes in the past go against the established format for car articles. A one-line lead paragraph and bolding the team name are unimportant. Furthermore, when it comes to details about the team name change, you are only applying them to this article rather than all of the articles which have this included in them. It's inconsistent editing, and it's in the wrong format. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 01:45, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
