Issues with this page[edit]

I hope editors won't be offended if I suggest a rewrite of this page. As I see it there are a number of issues that need resolving:

The definition given for the primary topic (Marquess) doesn't correspond well to the definition given in the article the topic is linked to
The list of marquesses in the UK is redundant to List of marquesses in the peerages of the British Isles, as linked in the article
All the lists of marquesses by country are sub-topics of Marquess and not appropriate for a disambiguation page. For instance, "Marquess of Bute" is not a possible interpretation of the word "Marquess", but rather a sub-topic of the existing article "Marquess"
Crucial disambig info about places, music etc. is pushed way down the page by the aforementioned lists

The information on this page is useful but this is not the place for it. A more concise dab page would link to Marquess and possibly to Marquesses in the United Kingdom and leave it at that, allowing those articles to provide the rest of the information.
