Marriage[edit]

According to http://www.british-civil-wars.co.uk, Langdale married in 1626 Lenox Rodes (d.1639) with whom he had four sons and three daughters. The article states he was married to Ann Howard, a granddaughter of Thomas Howard, 4th Duke of Norfolk. Shipsview (talk) 12:30, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Most other biographers, eg Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, agree with the above. I will make the change unless anyone objects.
On 12 September 1626, at St Michael-le-Belfry in York, Langdale married Lenox (d. 1639), daughter of Sir John Rodes of Barlborough, Derbyshire, and his third wife, Catherine, daughter of Marmaduke Constable of Holderness. Lenox was also the sister of Sir John Hotham's first wife, Katherine Rodes. ODNB Shipsview (talk) 21:14, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
