Why are marketing boards important in Canada??

Marketing boards in Africa[edit]

From what I have read and learned at college, Marketing Boards in Africa are used to ensure that farmers recieve the same price for a good, no matter what the world price is. Board or enterprise?[edit]

There is not clarity in this article between what is a marketing board (set up by producers) and a state marketing enterprise (set up by the government - sometimes in collusion with producers).
