Feedback from New Page Review process[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: The term "maktab" in the Indian and Pakistan diaspora has a wider meaning. It'd be good if the relevant details are included in this article..

This is very interesting User:TheAafi. Perhaps we do need to elaborate within Kuttab article, or even develop a maktab (education) separate article. I just don't know the details, but somebody more well versed can elaborate similarities and differences. werldwayd (talk) 02:30, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
werldwayd, I see a lot of information is already available on Kuttab article. However, I see a merit in the article being titled as "maktaba" or anything such. I have never heard of "kuttab" lol. So, I don't have problem with the merge but I'd really appreciate if someone starts RM. ─ The Aafī on Mobile (talk) 03:18, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
My knowledge of the term is limited and I simply don't know the nuance between kuttab and maktab. So I can't speculate. I leave it to the experts to explain the particularities of each term linguistically and geographically. Perhaps various language Wikipedias can be of help and they can pitch in to come up with a more precise definition. werldwayd (talk) 05:34, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
