Notability[edit]

Hi, @Nikthestunned:

Please explain how "the topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for music". The topic of this article has met the criteria for musicians and ensembles; "Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart". Mako has had two singles on charts in two countries (US and Belgium). As per the US charts criteria, "If a song has not charted on Dance/Electronic Songs you may add any of the following"; Hot Dance/Electronic Digital Songs, Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Hot Dance Singles Sales. Mako has some songs on these charts and they're sourced as well. So why do you suggest it may not meet the notability guideline? - TheMagnificentist (talk) 06:47, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't add the tag, I reinstated it when removed sneakily. However I'd suggest it's as they've had two minor chart appearances (none in the 'main' chart for any country) and the sourcing for the article is very poor (as per many of the other pages created by yourself). No notification?[edit]

I notice that the article summary is the exact same one as the article I submitted about a year ago about Mako. How come I did not get a notification about part of my article being used in a published one? Was it simply too small of a section for it to be considered mine? I don't mean to sound rude, I was just surprised to see it included. AnonymousMusician (talk) 22:01, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
