Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... it was originally created as a redirect to Martin Margiela, as it is the name of Martin Margiela's fashion house. It should remain as a redirect there. Mabalu (talk) 13:38, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think creating this page is fine. The problem of how to avoid it being taken over by promotionalism is however a little tricky. I do not want to protect it immediately, because it probably would be best to expand it a little into a neutral article. It seems there is will be something to say: as the designer left the firm in 2009, it would be interesting to know what happened subsequently. Dealing with promotionalism here after that is a familiar, though not necessarily easy problem. I'll keep an eye on it for a little while. DGG ( talk ) 17:08, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
