untitled[edit]

His full name was Arhat Mahinda [1], and this should be moved there. --Bhadani 15:34, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How come 3rd century. Ashoka was in BC so how come his son in 3rd century, unless it is 3rd century BC--194.221.74.7 10:58, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article lacks sources. This character is as likely to be mythological as historical, yet the articles lacks all supporting evidence. (Extramural (talk) 22:38, 27 February 2009 (UTC))[reply]

The main image used.[edit]

There is an art of statues unique to Sri Lanka. but i see the Mihidu statue used here is in elegant feminine shape as the main image.it distorts the overall impression of the page. It could lead to loose the first impression of the page . It can influence people's cultures and religions. Therefore, I would like to advise to carefully select images , and to think carefully about the impact their decisions may have on these priceless works of art, cultural and religious significance.
