Hi, Madhav Nori is a leading Mathematician in Algebraic geometry who created theories and objects which are used by hundreds or even thousand of Mathematicians. I am actually surprised that this mage didn't exist yet. I consider that it shouldn't be deleted. Certainly that needs to be cleaned up a bit and developped (I don't know his birth date for example) and hopfully other people will do in the future. But he definitely needs to be on Wikipedia! I have seen (way) less famous mathematicians having their own page on wikipedia! Thanks! --ArtistoY (talk) 16:55, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you have a strong connection to the issue because you're pretending to be an article reviewer and lying about your article being accepted by AFC. Do you find this strange, or do you have any past Wikipedia accounts?  DIVINE  17:01, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I had an old account for which I lost the password! It was ArtistoX if I am not wrong. I actually created lots of articles in the past in wikipedia! Especially the italian and french ones, but some in English too. Unfortunately I tried by all means to retrieve my old password but I couldn't make it! So... here I am with my new user and ... with little memories on how to write articles, but I am doing my best. --ArtistoY (talk) 17:41, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
~P.S.: has for the AFC... I barely know what it is, I just copied a page I previously created and I guess it contained the AFC information of the previous article I created, this is what (maybe) created the confusion, I am very sorry about that! ArtistoY (talk) 17:43, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry about it ArtistoY and thanks for your contributions! Polyamorph (talk) 20:06, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the article states that the subject made a significant proof. That is in itself a credible claim of significance. In my opinion, this article is not ready for article space, and should be moved to draft space, but the subject almost certainly will be found to pass both academic notability and general notability. As I was concerned about the AFC tag violations and COI, I contested it, but I'm happy that you commented here, so we can move it to the draft space and proceed after the creator disclosed their previous accounts and add some additional references, which supports the notability?  DIVINE  18:19, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you both, and sorry again for the little mess I created. I will add a few more references to support the notability. Unfortunately I am not able to finde any more information about his birth date and place. --ArtistoY (talk) 18:35, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
