All these Canada airports are displayed at Google Earth in Russia - due to wrong coordinates! West longitudes should be simply marked with minus sign - not with the letter "W". --83.18.254.125 07:16, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for catching that. It was because of the west coordinates being listed as D|M|S|00|W by changing them back to D|M|S|W the problem might eventually be fixed. As an example use Google Earth to look at Ottawa/Rockcliffe Water Aerodrome. I fixed the coodinates on 16 February but it's still not listed ther but at Cambridge Bay Water Aerodrome. Wikipedia has 5 articles mentioning Macmillian Pass Airport, 4 of which say it is at Macmillian Pass, Yukon. 7 other articles spell it Macmillan Pass, and one says MacMillan Pass. Is one spelling more official than the others? The Macmillian Pass Airport article references Canada Flight Supplement. Effective 0901Z 24 July 2014 to 0901Z 18 September 2014 which I don’t have a copy of, so I would need a comparable reference to change it. Art LaPella

The official name is Macmillan Pass

Macmillan Pass was adopted on 05 Nov. 1946 on 105O01 (105NW & NE). Confirmed on 14 Feb. 2007 on 105O01.

(1) Name in association with the Macmillan River; Named by Robert Campbell (1808-1894) after his cousin Chief Factor James Macmillan (1783-1858) was a fur trader and explorer for the North West Company and Hudson's Bay Company.
