Mr and Mrs Macbeth[edit]

Wondering about this - has anyone anywhere ever actually referred to Shakespeare's Macbeth as "Macca" or Lady Macbeth as "Lady Macca" other than as some kind of riff on Heather and Sir Paul? Methinks this is bullshit. Tvoz/talk 00:29, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds unlikely to me. Can't imagine theatre goers and Shakespeare afficionados saying they are off to see the latest version of "Macca". Is it unlucky for actors to say "Macca" then? Format (talk) 08:07, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I thought it complete tosh. I deleted the two entries, citing WP:DABMENTION. Narky Blert (talk) 17:04, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
