Editing of the Article on Maarrat Sainaya[edit]

Replace (north) of the city of Damascus, by (north-east) of the city of Damascus Replace (at the outskirt of the village), by (at the southern outskirt) of the village.. Replace Mar Elias (Monastery), by Mar Elias Shrine Replace (St. Elijah Monastery), by (St. Elijah Shrine); Arabic مقام مار الياس pronounced “Maqam Mar Elias” Replace (to visit this Melkite Catholic Church), by (to visit this Melkite Catholic Shrine) Replace (St. Elijah day of 20-June), by (St. Elijah day on July 20). After Mor Ephrem Monastery, add (Arabic دير مار أفرام , pronounced ”Deir Mar Afram”. I guarantee the accuracy of these corrections because I am native of Maarra and have served its Melkite Community for 17 years (1981 – 1998). Fr. Alam ALAM (الأب علم الياس علم) P.S.
