Untitled[edit]

Overall, this article basically seems to be an attempted merge of the English Web's articles about Ma Gui, each written by different groups claiming connections to Ma Gui. This leads to some contradictions, however, such as:

1. Why is the material taught by Liu Wanchuan's branch and Wang Peisheng's branch completely different, despite both claiming lineage to Ma Gui? 2. Why was Ma Gui traditionally considered to have had no disciples? 3. Why is Li Shao'an considered to be a lineage holder of Ma Gui by Liu Wanchuan's branch, when he has long been considered a disciple of Liang Zhenpu?

It would be a good idea to use older (Chinese) sources (and not only from the Internet), etc. to improve the quality of this article.

Hmm - the article still reads as a merge (and advertisement) of the English Internet's articles about Ma Gui, despite the fact that the different accounts contradict each other (which would indicate controversy). Chinese sources state that Ma Gui taught Cao Zhongsheng, Guo Gumin, and Wu Junshan - yet no mention is made of them here.

Because there is controversy over what Ma Gui actually taught, it would be better to say that "so-and-so branch of Ma Gui bagua trains this-and-that" as opposed to "Ma Gui trained this-and-that" - for the sake of accuracy.
