We would like a comparison on which of the two is better. I am in a conflict with User:Sjeintspen on which of the two is the better one, hence per WP:BRD I want to make an explanation of which of the two is better.

Original (one to be replaced due to distracting foot and advertisements)
Doors showing, clearer background and nicer colour (preferred image)

May I please have a comment below from anyone more specially Davey2010 as this area is his speciality. If the original is fine, I will no longer edit this article and do other things. Also User:Sjeintspen, you didn't reply to my message on your talkpage (how rude), so per WP:IDIDNTHEARTHAT, you are just causing problems for everyone who want to turn this into a WP:GA and WP:FA. You have to look twice at the front of the white one to see that the letters are MAN. On the red one they're very clear. Important if you thought all the buses with this body style came with a Mercedes star stuck on the front. Sinmilar reaction on the panel gaps round the lockers or whatever they are on the side panels. In short, the white bits on the white bus are badly over exposed. It's a common problem with pictures of white cars (here read buses), as I think we've discussed - EurovisionNim - before. Auto focus cameras pointed at white cars (and buses and trux) often need to be manually tweaked to allow for the extreme difference in the amount of light entering the lens from the white bits and from the other bits. (Unless your camera is a whole lot smarter than me / mine.)

You need a great eye for detail to notice the foot. Congratulations. Maybe you, or someone, could remove it if it causes distress.

I don't find the "gas powered" livery distressing. Pioneering the use of gas in buses is quite a positive boast if you live in a country and/ or are part of a culture where they're serious about slowing the growth in planetary CO2. I like the "message". But I know you - one of you - has a thing about writing on vehicles. I guess it's a matter of personal judgement. As is the question of whether you prefer to look at red buses or white buses .... I guess that for those of us who grew up near London, England, "real buses" are generally "red buses". If I had grown up in the Netherlands or Switzerland, or had gone to school each day on an American school bus, that would read "real buses" are generally "yellow buses". If you grew up in Germany, the colour of local buses would have varied according to where you were living and when you lived there. Western Austrialia? Your call. Seriously, "nicer colour" is in the eye of the beholder. But white buses (and black buses) do present a special challenge to amateur photographers (which is most of us) when adjusting the camera.

On the subject of personal preference, when it comes to background I prefer picturesque older buildings to a 1950s style bus shed. But yes .... maybe that's just my age. And / or because I used to live across the park from a "Feuerwehr" station of similar style and vintage, where they used to spend Saturday afternoons cutting up old cars in order to learn how to get people out in a hurry after an Autobahn pile-up. Somehow I found cutting up old cars more than distressing. I like old cars.

They's both reasonable pictures. Neither is terrible. Happy days indeed. I started out thinking they were of approximately equal merit. But after looking more closely, and if it should come to a vote, I prefer the red one AND I think it's technically "better" by a useful margin.
