Revert[edit]

This edit claims that two versions of the infobox present "exactly the same information". However, a comparison of the two shows that this is not the case, with the current version omitting genres of work and instead presenting a single (comparatively minor) point from the subject's extensive employment history. The subject is noted primarily for writing, not for teaching English for a year; the former presentation is thus more appropriate. Nikkimaria (talk) 00:45, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The listing of incredibly broad genres is pretty meaningless as most writers write different kinds of things, adds no real information, and looks amateurish. Gamaliel (talk) 22:42, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The listing shows the scope of the subject's work at a glance. However, even if you feel genre should be omitted, that does not address the issues with regards to employment history. Additionally, typically |alma mater= is not included for non-graduates, and I don't see a reason not to identify prominently why Green Grow the Lilacs is considered significant.
