There is a Jan 31 2017 article by Caron and Aria ("Cambrian suspension-feeding lobopodians and the early radiation of panarthropods") that presents the claim that Luolishaniidae is the most basal branch of Panarthropoda. This material should be incorporated into this article. Unfortunately, I do not have time to do that now.Ray Glock-Grueneich (talk) 18:18, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A slight correction to the preceding comment: The claim made by Caron and Aria (as reflected in the cladogram contained within their 2017 article) is not that Luolishaniidae is the most basal branch of Panarthropoda, but rather that a clade consisting of sister taxons, one of which is Luolishaniidae and the other of which is the genus Facivermis, is the most basal branch of Panarthropoda.Ray Glock-Grueneich (talk) 18:28, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
