My father, Fred W Potter was born in Lumberton as was were my two older brothers. I went through the first and second grades at Lumberton GS, and my youngest brother, Tom did also. Tom was Chief of Police in Portland Oregon and Mayor of Portland. I recall the most prominent families being the Bells and Birds.
