Another Louis Wolfson[edit]

I found this page while searching for Louis Wolfson, born 1931, famous American writer suffering from schizophrenia since he was a child. See http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Wolfson on French Wikipedia.

His peculiarity, is that he can't stand his mother tongue, literally, hearing it hurts him, a probable consequence of his psychosis. So naturally he never wrote IN ENGLISH. Still deserves recognition.

I believe a disambiguation page and a proper article are warranted, but beyond my current knowledge and possibilities. Contributions warmly welcome. Issar El-Aksab (talk) 02:36, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dead link[edit]

Footnote 1, evidently a Miami Herald story, is an Internet link and it is dead. JohnnyB256 (talk) 02:05, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

== Economic "boom" of the eighties and nineties

WHAT "economic boom"? In the 1980s and 1990s? The U.S. has LOST industrial jobs since the 1970s not gained them. This section is POV and should be removed as it is one law professor's skewed opinion. Might I add, a professor who never held an industrial job in his life. What garbage! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.119.151.233 (talk) 03:16, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"ruined his life"[edit]

The section regarding Mr. Wolfson's "crusade" reforming the federal penal system (from and insider's view)is all very noble but adding that his son thought it "ruined his life" and that Wolfson was "railroaded" is POV and should be removed. Wolfson only spent 10 months in a place where those with fewer connections and less dough would have spent a lot more time for similar offenses. Sounds like a lot of whining to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.119.151.233 (talk) 03:25, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation needed (another Louis Wolfson)[edit]

As mentioned in a previous section, there is another Louis Wolfson of note. I read about him in an article by Deleuze and was very confused to find a Wikipedia page about a financier when I looked him up.

A page exists about him in the French Wikipedia (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Wolfson). I know French and would be willing to translate the French page as a starting point. However, I'm new to Wikipedia editing so I don't really know how to create a disambiguation page. Can someone help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hugo Vernier (talkcontribs) 19:27, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
