Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (The subject is clearly notable given the volume and quality of the sources. It seems that a normal discussion process would be much more appropriate.) --Nightcafe1 (talk) 06:33, 17 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sourcing[edit]

I've been looking through the sourcing on this article and most of it is unreliable. Some examples:

  • Forbes contributors (see WP:FORBESCON)
  • HuffPost contributors (see WP:RSP)
  • Dotdash/Liquor.com (also at WP:RSP)
  • Puff-piece promotional churnalism: Attractions Magazine, Beer Alien, Edible Monterey Bay, The Whiskey Wash, Market Watch, etc.
  • Sites run by businesses: Rum Reinaissance, Distiller, etc.
  • Self-published blogs: Slammie, Whiskyfun, Howtodrinkwhisky, etc.

I suggest paring it back to what can be cited to actual reliable sources, like Wired, Smithsonian, and possibly The Daily Beast. Woodroar (talk) 16:27, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reworking the paired back article for factual accuracy & relevance using the Smithsonian, Wired, Las Vegas Review Journal, etc. For example the paired back article has the distillery located in the wrong city. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nightcafe1 (talkcontribs) 17:48, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I thought it moved from Las Vegas to Los Angeles but I must have had the dates/sources backwards. Thanks for the help! Woodroar (talk) 18:09, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
